Coastal Zone Manager

PT Laut Biru Lestari is seeking a Coastal Zone Manager to lead sustainable coastal development and marine conservation projects in the beautiful archipelago of Bangka Belitung. This role is crucial in shaping the future of our coastal zones, ensuring they remain vibrant, healthy, and resilient. You will work closely with local communities, government agencies, and international partners to implement innovative solutions that protect our marine ecosystems and support local livelihoods.

As a Coastal Zone Manager, you will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of projects, from beach clean-ups and coral reef restoration to sustainable tourism initiatives and coastal infrastructure development. You will use cutting-edge tools like GIS software, remote sensing technologies, and environmental impact assessment frameworks to guide your decision-making. With a strong background in coastal management and a passion for marine conservation, you will play a key role in PT Laut Biru Lestari's mission to preserve the natural beauty of Bangka Belitung for generations to come.

📋 Tanggung Jawab Pekerjaan

• Oversee the implementation of coastal development projects, ensuring they align with environmental regulations and sustainability goals.
• Lead marine conservation initiatives, including coral reef restoration, mangrove planting, and beach clean-up campaigns.
• Develop and manage community engagement programs to foster collaboration between PT Laut Biru Lestari, local communities, and government agencies.
• Conduct environmental impact assessments and prepare reports for regulatory approvals.
• Monitor and report on project progress, identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation.
• Collaborate with international partners and NGOs to expand the reach and impact of coastal conservation efforts.
• Train and mentor staff on coastal management best practices and sustainable development principles.
• Represent PT Laut Biru Lestari at conferences, workshops, and other industry events to share knowledge and expertise.

🎓 Kualifikasi & Syarat

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Marine Biology, Coastal Management, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in coastal zone management, marine conservation, or a related field.
• Certification in Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) or a similar relevant certification is a plus.
• Proven track record of successfully managing coastal development and conservation projects.
• Strong knowledge of GIS software, remote sensing technologies, and environmental data analysis tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to travel extensively, including to remote coastal areas, as part of project responsibilities.
• Fluency in both English and Bahasa Indonesia is required.
